Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how 1st Lending Solutions, Inc. DBA First Lending Solutions ("First Lending Solutions," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information through our website, www.firstlendingonline.com (the "Site"), including our online quote and contact forms.
Customers who apply for a loan: If you apply for a mortgage loan with us, you will receive our separate GLBA Privacy Notice ("Facts: What does First Lending Solutions do with your personal information?"). That notice governs the nonpublic personal information we collect in connection with your loan application and loan. If anything in this Policy conflicts with the GLBA Privacy Notice for that information, the GLBA Privacy Notice controls.
1. Information we collect and where it comes from
Information you give us. When you complete a quote request, contact form, or other form on the Site, or call, text, or email us, we may collect: - Contact information: name, phone number, and email address. - Request details: the best time to call, the state where the property is located, and, if you choose, the topic of your request (buying, refinancing, VA loan, or another question). Our quote and contact forms do not ask for income, credit score, Social Security number, date of birth, or account numbers. - Communication preferences and consent records: whether you agreed to be contacted by call or text, and a record of that consent (date and time, your time zone, the page where you submitted the form, and the version of the consent language you saw). - Anything else you choose to include in a message to us.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our systems and service providers may automatically collect browser type, device and operating system, IP address, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit, through server logs, cookies, and similar technologies (see Section 5).
Information from others. If you go on to apply for a loan, we obtain information from sources such as credit reporting agencies, employment and income verification vendors, appraisers, and lenders. That information is covered by our GLBA Privacy Notice.
Our online loan application. Our online application at https://FirstLendingSolutions.zipforhome.com is First Lending Solutions' own application, hosted by a technology provider on our behalf. Information you submit there is covered by this Policy and our GLBA Privacy Notice.
You may browse the Site without giving us personal information. If you choose not to provide certain information, we may not be able to respond to your request.
Our chat answers general questions with pre-written answers. We do not save the messages you type in the chat. If you ask us to call you back, we collect the information you enter in the callback form (your name, phone number, best time to call and, if you choose, your email, property state and topic), along with a record of whether you agreed to receive texts. We may count which chat answers are shown, without any information about you.
2. How we use information
We use information to: - respond to your inquiry and provide the quote, consultation, or loan services you request; - contact you by phone, text, or email about your inquiry, consistent with your consent (see Section 8); - process, underwrite, and close a loan you apply for; - operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site; - keep records and comply with laws, regulations, and licensing requirements, and respond to regulators and legal process; and - detect and prevent fraud and protect our rights and the rights of our customers.
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. If you decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load Google Analytics. You can change your choice anytime with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of each page.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.
We share information only with the following categories of third parties: - Wholesale lenders and investors, and related settlement providers (such as title, escrow, and appraisal companies), when needed to process, fund, or service a loan you have requested. - Service providers that perform services for us, such as website hosting, form and customer relationship management (CRM) software, email and phone/text services, credit reporting, and income, employment, and identity verification vendors. They may use the information only to provide services to us. - Government agencies, regulators, and others when required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or regulatory examination, or to protect against fraud. - A successor business, if First Lending Solutions is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
4. Reviewing and correcting your information
You may ask to review or correct the personal information you submitted through the Site, or ask us to delete a quote request you no longer want us to keep, by contacting us using the information in Section 13. We will verify your request and respond within a reasonable time. We may keep information when the law requires us to, for example records relating to a loan application.
5. Cookies and analytics
The Site uses cookies to make the Site work and remember preferences. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization, and we do not send form contents or other information that identifies you to Google. Our reviews page uses a service provider, Elfsight, to display our public Google reviews; Elfsight may receive your IP address and browser information when that page loads. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as pages visited, time on the Site, and general device and browser information, and reports website trends to us. You can learn how Google uses this information at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and read Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can also set your browser to refuse or delete cookies; some parts of the Site may not work properly if you do.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. There is no uniform standard for responding to DNT signals, and the Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. Google Analytics may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Site, as described in Section 5.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sharing.
7. How we protect information
We maintain an information security program with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect customer information, consistent with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the FTC Safeguards Rule. Safeguards include encrypted (HTTPS) connections for our forms, access limited to employees and service providers who need the information, and multi-factor authentication for systems that store customer information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send Social Security numbers or other sensitive financial information through general website forms or ordinary email.
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam and bots; see Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum (https://www.cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy/).
Our website forms are delivered to us by email through a service provider, Resend, which processes the information you submit only to deliver it to us.
8. Calls, text messages, and email
We contact people only when they have asked for our services, and we use the method you ask for: phone call, text message, or email. We call or text you only with your consent. If you check the optional consent box on our form, you agree that First Lending Solutions may contact you at the number you provided by call or text, including by automated technology or prerecorded messages, about your mortgage inquiry. This consent is given to First Lending Solutions only and is not shared with or transferred to any other company. We will not contact you by automated technology or prerecorded messages unless your consent covers it. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or loan. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You may also opt out of calls or texts at any time by telling us during a call or by contacting us as shown in Section 13. We do not share your phone number or consent with other companies for their own marketing.
Email newsletter. We occasionally send an email newsletter. Every marketing email we send identifies First Lending Solutions, includes our mailing address, and includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time by using that link or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not stop messages we need to send about a loan you have applied for.
Our website chat is an automated assistant, not a loan officer. It does not save or store the messages you type in the chat. If you submit a callback request, we use that information to call you about your request, and we text you only if you check the optional text box. Callback requests are kept as described in Section 9.
9. How long we keep information
We keep quote requests and form submissions from people who do not go on to apply for a loan for up to 12 months, then delete them, unless we need them longer to comply with law or resolve a dispute. Records of call and text consent and opt-outs are kept as long as needed to document compliance. Information connected with a loan application is kept for the periods required by federal and state law and our record-retention policies.
10. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other websites
The Site may link to other websites, such as lender, government, or review sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their policies.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If we make a material change in how we use or share personal information, we will post a prominent notice on the Site before the change takes effect.
